About Professional mode unlockables

To unlock the Chicago Sweeper and Handcannon weapons you need to finish Professional mode with Rank A (under 7 hours), with a new clear game file (no new game+, no bonus weapons), am I correct?

However, being in a new save slot/new game, when I unlock these two weapons, will I be able to use them on my another save game slot in standard/hardcore modes? Thanks in advance.

once unlock you should be able to use them on any save however i do not know if upgrading them on save 1 will repercute in save 2

Only the S+ Ranks are fresh playthroughs (+ timed). So you can get the Sweeper on Professional NG+ with an A Rank (under 7 hours). Handcannon = new game only, can't be first playthrough of the game, with the added condition of no bonus weapons allowed (i.e., Sweeper, Primal Knife).

Not sure if their upgrades carry over to new runs or not.

To make things a bit easier when unlocking the Handcannon, you can do a Pro+ run with the Sweeper to get the Cat Ears (infinite ammo except for the Rocket Launcher). Then do another fresh playthrough Pro run using the Cat Ears (3000 CP), but without using the Sweeper or Primal Knife.

Oh lol I thought I misread I guess we both misreading things now lol
But yeah, you were correct you can get some nice unlocked by doing NG+ on Pro getting an A rank and use that stuff for a new pro run for handcannon.

The gas mask, I didnt even realize, gives auto aim.... regardless of difficulty and it saves a ton of ammo lol until you can get the cat ears.

So, just to make sure... To unlock the handcannon I just need to beat the game in Professional in a fresh new game slot and without using any bonus weapons? So I can take any time I want to finish the game and no matter what Rank I get?

For the Sweeper though, I need to finish in Professional with all that above plus Rank A (under 7 hours)?

Chicago Typewriter can be obtained in NG+ in Professional A rank.

Hand Cannon can be obtained only from fresh save, Professional any rank, no bonus weapons (but accessories and Ashley Armor are okay)

Cat ears can be obtained only from a fresh save, Professional S+ (5hr 30min, 15 saves). You can use bonus weapons.
