Fully upgraded Stingray VS CQBR?

Which one is better in your opinion?
I'm wondering if the bonus damage makes the CQBR more worth it in the end.

stingray has 0? recoil but the CQBR has higher damage per shot and higher ROF. Also you gotta tap really quickly if you want to single fire the CQBR.

I'd pick the CQBR to massacre bosses, but otherwise stingray. I would also pick the CQBR for infinite ammo memes when I eventually get the inf ammo.

Stingray seems to have better penetration as well. It was easier to hit the parasites in the regenerators with it on this assisted farming/trophy run I'm doing. Unless that's just the difficulty.

CQBR does indeed come on top when fully upgraded, but that requires the exclusive upgrade. You get much more usability from the Stingray in the meanwhile and CQBR is around 100K pesetas more expensive to upgrade. Overall I'd say Stingray is the better choice even though CQBR is a slightly better weapon in the end.

Stingray on higher difficulties due to ammo consumption issues. But CQBR fully upgraded is stronger, I found on Hardcore I wasn't able to afford to fully upgrade both weapons so I just stuck with the Stingray with the High-Powered Scope.

Bolt Action Rifle if you are good with it. Beats both by miles with its up to 30+ dmg per weak point shot. Try using it with no scope equipped and only equip the scope when you actually legit need it. If you aren't good with it I think the Stingray is the better option since ammo efficiency matters a lot due to penetrating multiple normal targets and it has pretty good dmg and fire rate in contrast to the assault rifle being... RIP ammo. The Riot Gun can fill its role anyways.

How is the CQBR any less ammo efficient than stingray? You guys are playing on PC how is trigger control so difficult for people when it's just a quick M1 click?

First mag and last 8 shots of last mag = Full auto for comparison.
Everything else is me manually single shotting. even the relatively quick ones.

You can even single fire the stocked Matilda if you are quick enough, but that's quite a bit less lenient than CQBR. CQBR However gives you a ton of time to release your firing button before committing to full auto, so it should be easy even with trigger on a controller.

The point in it is to snipe things at a distance so stingray is better. Otherwise it's a waste of ammo. But some people like to use all their rifle ammo in one go on a boss. You can play the game without using either though. Next to the magnum the rifle is the 2nd most optional weapon.

You can use a scope with CQBR. How does Stingray excel at range over CQBR?

CQBR fIres faster when needed, does more damage per shot, has higher clip size. has penetration like all rifles and has 3x weakpoint damage like all rifles.

I cannot think of a single thing that Stingray does better other than being cheaper, which to be fair is a valid concern.

CQBR by far. Better damage, better RoF, same penetration, higher magazine size...
The stingray is a meh option compared to the 1903 or the CQBR. It' still viable but it's not the best anymore.

A fun weapon with cat ears in NG+, in the actual S+ pro run there are better weapons to fully upgrade.

With infinite ammo, the CQBR. Without, the Stingray. The CQBR really just uses too much ammo to be viable when not combined with infinite ammo. You can also fire single shots, but that's hard to do consistently and the main advantage of the weapon is the fire rate.

The CBQR has the highest dps of any weapon in the game save for the rocket launcher, but not counting infinite ammo the Stingray is the better weapon to use.

You get the Stingray earlier which makes it easier to fully upgrade. It's more efficient to stick with it.

Hard to do consistently? It’s my main rifle and I never accidentally went full auto not even once
