Are treasure maps worth it?

Did you buy them for your first time? Are the treasures really that well hidden? Thinking about saving the spinels for other items.

Do it. You won't miss the 1 spinel and it is worth saving the time. Not game time, just life time.

They're worth it until you're on your 10th playthrough and know the game inside out

It's not that the treasures are well-hidden, it's more so that you will miss some of them unless you throw yourself at every single wall and crevice like a bug tester. There's too many of them so you'll end up walking by some, even if they're in plain sight

Some of them (dat caged ♥♥♥♥) is VERY hard to notice. For example there is a "room" on island, where this cage is like 30 meter up your head, no noise, no visuals without a scope.
I have never problem with money to buy them, but they are not mandatory for shure.
Also they show diffirent treasures from dlc map.

Yes, they absolutely ARE worth it. As some treasures are fairly easy to find, while others are basically impossible to find without a map. I got a chance to test this first hand as I bought the first 2 maps for the village and castle, but didn't have enough of the funny-money stuff to get the third map for the base till after I was almost done with it. When I got that last map I noticed I had missed around a few dozen treasures likely worth around 100k.

Only if you haven't memorized where every single treasure piece is. Since treasure is going to be the quickest way to upgrade weapons and gear throughout the game.

They're nice to have, imho. Some treasure locations aren't as obvious as you might think and often times the specific sound queues don't give'em away immediately. That and it's easier to keep track of all the places you can, and should backtrack for more loot before moving on to a new map.

Same opinion. Just buy the map. You have well over 100 spinels throughout whole game and spending on map is not a huge lost.

People said to stock up on spinels for exclusive ticket, but I think its not worth it unless you are using it on magnum. Each spinel can be trade into no-limit-trade 2500 pesetas treasure once you are on island.

Yes? super cheap. But once you have a few playthroughs you should know where stuff is
