Found out looking at a gameplay that had the same "issue" but noticed the rotate buttons
Otherwise you may just be not actually viewing the puzzle correctly. Each tablet has 2 sides and the color is a red herring, the real differences are the symbol and the borders, and both of those have to match. The borders being different is what seems to throw people off on this puzzle. It'll either be a square or a hexagon, and you have to make sure they match with what's on the door.
So the puzzle wants not only the correct combination but the correct stones in the correct place with the correct combination.
