Hardcore S+ Advice? Chapter time goals?
I'm going for S+ on hardcore for the achievement and was wondering on what chapter times I should be shooting for. Got the first four chapters done in around 20m each. I could probably do it quicker but I'm going for some treasures/tasks to get some necessary upgrades.

Any chapters I should be particularly wary of? Anything I should get?

chapter 7 is a big time killer, the whole of the castle really, cause a lot of the bigger set piece levels (the water room, the maze with dogs, catapults) will EAT your resources and time you need for the bossfights or horde holdout bits

the dream is to like rush to mendez with most of your nades or high power gun of choice's ammo, burn him, rush to salalzar, nuke him preferably with a launcher since theres so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much high value treasure in the Castle, then avoid what you can in the island, burn down Krauser by cheesing him with parries and magnum ♥♥♥♥, then its smooth from there because Saddler is still piss easy with all the gear youll have by the end

There are already runs on youtube both for hardcore and professional, just watch the whole video or just a chapter you need, but in second case you might find yourself without some key resources.

Tricky segments:
- Dual chainsaw sisters
- Del Lago (sucks ass in professional cause RNG)
- House holdout with Luis,
- Dual Garrador (I missmanaged my funds here)
- Red cultists section the stealth room is more annoying than the bridge.
- Boss fight if you're not RPG'ing them (Mendez p2, Verdugo, Salazar, Krauser, Saddler)
- Ashley Mausoleum section, (layout depends on difficulty) TRIVIAL WITH KNIGHT ARMOR
- Minecart section if you're sketch about your aim.
- Lv 3 Keycard Regenador section. don't let a ganado light a dynamite.
- Wrecking ball section

Maybe some others but those segments were the ones where I had mild headaches, the ones in bold were the ones I struggled the most. in the S+ prof attempt.

I've held off doing Hardcore S+ until I've beaten my Professional run since it unlocks the Handcannon and fully upgrading that gives it infinite ammo, albeit costing 500K. Having an absolute powerhouse of a weapon capable of one-shotting nearly everything without ever having to reload would definitely be a major help.

Otherwise, general min/max of movement i.e knowing where the most valuable treasures are that aren't too far out of the way, knowing enemy spawns/pathing as to avoid and weave around them. In prep for Hardcore S+ my first ever run was Hardcore and I made individual saves before each boss so I could just load them up for some practice runs before doing them for real on the S+ run, sure you probably won't have the same guns/ammo/upgrades but it's more practice mechanically for the fight.

Just have to make sure your overall time is under 5 and a half hours, since that's the condition for getting S+

Uh god. Listing out all of those sections like that has destroyed my confidence in doing this blind haha. I'll probably look at some playthroughs. Didn't know knight armour helped with the Mausoleum section though.

So you can use the accessories and powerful guns given to you? I haven't touched my storage weapons and changing my suitcase alongside using the hand cannon yet.
