Is it worth killing Verdugo early?

Is it worth killing Salamons Henchman early? i haven't played the old re4 im playing on veteran took me some minutes and just got this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 30k reward for the amount of ammo and health i wasted its not worth it.
will i meet him later on again when its more worth?
cuz right now im thinking of loading my save again and just getting the loot and leaving.

If you mean Verdugo, it depends. He will drop Golden Monocle which worths 30k, and you get to complete a challenge. Though you will not meet him again

Just freeze and RPG him. Yeah you drop the money on it but honestly, it's worth it. That was my go to strategy back in RE4 classic and it's the same here. He has too much HP to just use the magnum now. It's a rough thing to drop that cash on but if you save up your magnum ammo and use it on salazar he goes down easy as he did in classic as well. Point being the RPG saves you HP and Ammo in exchange for a sizeable chunk of change.

i used all nitrogen, while he was frozen i threw like 2 normal nades and 2 heavy nades. then i just went back where the power switch was and run zigzag best tactic

Why would you use a striker on him on pro mode. You should be using the first shotgun with its exclusive perk.

Why would you use a striker on him on pro mode. You should be using the first shotgun with its exclusive perk.

Striker was used, cos i sold normal sg to get 12 rounds for free.
