Missed a statue
Hey, so I missed one of the statues in Chapter 4. When I start New Game +, will I get the inf. Knife as soon as I collect the missed statue in Chapter 4? Or will I have to then complete the entire game a second time and start a third run for the knife to unlock? Thanks for any insight.

It does carry over. Its one of the few things that does. Treasure and whatnot doesnt.

This isn't true. Key Items, except tokens, are the only things that don't carry over.

To clarify. If I get all of the Clockwork Castellans in the game except for the one in chapter 4, will I unlock the primal knife as soon as I shoot the statue in chapter 4 on new game +. Or will I still have to finish the entire new game + play through to unlock it in a second new game + run?

Like the Raccoons in RE2 and the goats in RE8 they carry over. So if you missed one then on NG+ all the ones you already have will be already collected except the ones you didnt get.

Yes, the collected statues carries over to NG+. Once you collect the missing one on Chapter 4 you will unlock the knife and then purchase it with CP from Main Menu.

You can also load back to Chapter 4 on your first playthrough (if you have a separate save there) and collect the missing statues, it will also count and complete the 16/16 :steamthumbsup:

Ah, I didn't realize you purchased it from the main menu. I thought I would have to wait for the merchant to carry it in a new game. Thanks for the answer! Gives me some relief I can get it right at chapter 4. I unfortunately don't have a save from there. So play through two it is!
