Area Skip - Mines

Someone already knows this, but if you rocket the boulder in the Mines, you don't need the dynamite. Saves a whole combat segment.

Have you tried with grenades? Does it work? The rocket too expensive for new game speed run.

You can also rocket the AA gun for Mike. And enter the time on the clock in Ashley's segment if you know it - the just grab the emblem and the way back would be magically open as if you took the elevator.

Honestly, hearing this makes me wonder if the RPG somehow becomes a tool for world record speedrunning in the future, guess we will have to wait and see

There's a few skips people have found already that are actually pretty convenient:

Skip the Town Fight:

Keep the Cultist from Lowering the platform during the Second Red Cultist Encounter:

In the Clock Tower, if you trigger the Spiked Ball trap then activate the Elevator, the Spike Ball will kill the first red Cultist for you, saving you ammo and potential issues if he survives.

There's probably a lot of ways to skip sections of this game that are hidden...

That first one unfortunately can only be done in NG+ since it can only be hit with a rifle, meaning it's not going to help you for an S+ rank

These others are great though to save time.
