Capcom, please address this ISSUE: FPS drops in Village area
I can't be the only one experiencing this, and I also saw that people with really high end PCs are getting this problem as well. The village part, start of the game, causes huge fps drops after you rescue Ashley and those sheets of rain start falling, on my end this was the ONLY moment the game dropped from 70-80 fps to 40-30 for seemingly no reason, apparently a CPU or GPU bottleneck. We need to bring this issue on top so that maybe they can see it and give the game a patch.

me neither, only during the part where you rescue ashley, it's the VILLAGE area, something must be off with that part for some people and their setups

people with rtx 4090, playing on MAX are also experiencing this, tf you even mean.

I run the fastest gaming CPU on the AM4 platform though the 5800x3D which likely pads the performance a lot.

I also run fast DDR4 3733mhz CL16.

Nah, OP is right, that heavy rain with wind moment in main village after you save Ashley is very intensive, didn't exactly dropped that low but I had drops to low 60s on 3070 there. It looks amazing though.

what CPU do you have? i seen alot of people with issues running 3000x cpu's which barely competed with intels 7th gen

it's crazy that most intensive areas like the island is running smooth as butter on my end, not one single FPS drop, then there's that single part when you rescue ashley and goes back to the village, then it tanks the FPS hard for me

not one single fps drop when mike started blasting through ganados, but then why is the village giving my PC ♥♥♥♥? makes no sense for it to be my rig/setup

you got a 5800x3D that cpu literally beats out the 11900K in some games. its the extra cache on it.
