The water in Del Lago Boss looks really bad

I love RE Engine but this part of the game felt eithee rushed or just simple bad done maybe due to technical reasons not sure but the water seemed very low res, specially the splashes and the waves looked very unrealistic

So far I love the game but that part was a little dissapointing

nah, it's still terrible given the modern standards we have these days. But I can see why they did that. After all they had to keep it performance friendly for the boss fight which kept distorting the water surface. If you'd run a high quality water simulation on such scenarios this would tank the overall game performance quite hard.

I guess you mean RT, as in RayTracing?
Asking because RTX is a series of GPU, not a graphical option ;)

Every game should just copy Assassins creed oddysey's water. That's still the best water I've seen in any game.

I like Arkham Knight and GTAV water, never played AC Odyssey.

Look at the water in the "water room" in the castle. It looks so awful it actually made me angry and I don't usually care about graphics that much.

No, it looks worse.
RE Engine has issues rendering water.
