el gigante
how to dodge his attacks? I killed it on the first try but got hit constantly which is extremely annoying...sometimes I could run through his legs and not get hit but other times he would step on me. Also he is faster so you can't just outrun his punches right? You have to just run under his legs? I would prefer to master the fight as I don't think you should get hit at all by him...

Yeah, this one was a little odd. I just found I needed to keep a LOT of distance and start running early on attack animations. Maybe others have a better method.

He gives really early signs when he's going to charge or jump, it's all about reading body language to tell what he's going to do. When you figure out what he's going to do, you just have to run to the left or the right to dodge it, as once he starts, he commits to that direction you were in when he first starts it.

On the first Gigante, not sure how to dodge the house when he throws it. Probably the same way, just it's hard to test when he only does it twice at most during the fight.

The only other move that's difficult is that during the duel fight, I sometimes had difficulty getting away from him even while running and he'll do a quick kick that knocks you away.

by then I will just buy a rocket launcher to kill one of them off quick. I had the money for this one just didn't want to cheese it on the first run...

Just run between his legs, i found its the easiest way to dodge as youll end up behind him and not risk getting hit by the large hitbox on his attacks

The first one is a little rough if you don't have upgraded weapons. The double encounter with Luis was actually a lot easier since by then I had upgraded most/all of my main weapons in power. I killed the first Gigate within a minute or two.

Regarding when he throws the house, you can just run behind him. Although there's some serious issues with his attacks. Especially his slam combo where he can literally catch up to you, no matter how fast you run. He also has a sweeping attack that you can run through if you time it correctly, but there's moments where he'll push you into the attack with his legs. It just doesn't work well in this type of game. For some reason he has a tendency to initiate these types of attacks when you're in a corner, so you're pretty much screwed. There's also moments where if he collapses near a wall, his parasite will clip through it, making it impossible to shoot. I know you can stab him, but what if you want to save knife durability, or your knife is broken? There's so many issues with not just this boss, but the entire game.

I think Leon should be able to dodge him, he can dodge Bitorez's fast attacks but not a rather slow giant
