Why does a single player game have an anti cheat protection?.. Honestly

I've always liked to have fun after I finish the main game by using trainers / cheat engine In all honesty. I want to use the "Super Accuracy" option from wemod because I've hated the reticle "wait 1908 years for the reticle to gain full accuracy" thing they implemented since resident evil 7. I want to have laser accuracy just like in the original RE4 ... I don't want to get some sort of ban or VAC or something just for using a trainer in a single player game But Aparently it's not that easy because the game has a cheat protection.. Just.. Why?

I don't know what cheat protection you're talking about. There's already a mod manager and trainers lined up for this since the demo released. FluffyQuack's Mod Manager and the REFramework can get you cheating in just about any way you wish.

where are you getting vac from? it doesn't use vac or any anti cheat software

I mean the script makers could have made their own anti - tamper, but they relied on the buggy reframework.

Ok. So I'm getting at this because most trainers are requiring me to use a "bypass" replacing some game files for the "cheat protection" ... Both wemod and Fling trainer require it..

i dunno but there's no vac here

vac is valve anti-cheat and only used in a few specific online pvp games

it has an anti-tamper for some reason and that's likely from denuvo. there is a way to bypass it with REFramework though.

anti-tamper is anti-piracy, not anti-cheat

Is it safe to do, modify game files protected by denuvo and using "bypasses"? Like, i'm sorry i'm really ignorant about this, that's why i'm asking

yes very safe, it doesn't bypass denuvo or affect the exe

i use re-framework to play at 100 fov and disable vignette

Generally when things like CheatEngine and the like ask for admin privileges it's because they're injecting their code into the .exe as it's running, but that isn't an issue in games that don't have anti-cheat. So you should be safe using basically any trainers and the like that you find on this game.

Dont think youre going to get banned, many peopel use REFRAMe, no one has said anything.
Plus this isnt GTA 5 single player.
Thats like the only game I can think of, ive seen people getting banned in for modding.
