Is the Luis Sera Charm bugged or working as intended?
I just tried this charm out, and was very let down to find out it only affects the initial price of the gun you are trying to sell, AKA buying the gun with no upgrades from the Merchant.

I just did a quick test with buying the Blacktail.

12,000 ptas base line price with no upgrades

14,400 ptas WITH Luis Sera charm (12,000*0.2= 2,400, 12,000+2,400 = 14,400)

I mainly tried it out because I wanted to see how much my maxed out Red9 would cost with the charm, and the price goes from 276,800 to 278,200.

If this is working as intended, this is a fairly disappointing and unfortunate underwhelming Rare charm, especially compared to stuff like the increase in health from eggs, bass, and even the reduced cost for body armor upgrades and resource purchases.

Aye the increase i seem to get from it is borderline negligible.

Seems like this charm increases only the selling price of the base gun, without taking upgrades into account.

Right, that's what I was talking about in the post, I saw it only increased the base price, but I was unsure if it was working correctly, because the sell back price is not at all worth it by the end.

I noticed that too, surely it's not intended..

Yeah, if this is actually intended then it's a trash rare. Waste of a drop sadly, as cool as it is to have original RE4 Luis in your collection. Hope they adjust it in some way.

If the charm was a 20% on the full price, it would break the game. For example, the Blacktail:

Buy price: $24.000
Buy upgrades: $401.000
Total: $425.000.

Sell price: $12000 (50%)
Sell upgrades: $380.950 (95%)
Total: $392.950.

If it was an extra 20%, you would end up selling the Blacktail for $470.460, even though you spent $425.000 in total. You WIN money (almost 45k), which you could exploit for infinite money since you can just rebuy the weapon and do it again. This is also why the merchant charm is only -5%, because you always get back 95% of the money you spend in upgrades.

it boost only base cost since you already get back everything you used on a gun to upgrade it, otherwise you could just buy a gun upgrade it and sell it over and over for infinite money,i do believe bought guns sell at 50% base price + upgrade costs, the charm is only there to get almost all of the base gun price back
