Is the rocket launcher one time use?

yes it is but you can unlock one

Rocket launcher is one time use and kills everything in the game in one shot. You can buy a new one from the vendor between 80.000-160.000 Pesos depending on difficulty and charms equipet. If you hate a certain boss fight just use the Rocket launcher.

Thanks so much, I just used it on the first boss after buying it, kinda sad that I did. I've never played the OG so I'm not sure what the "IT" bossfight was.

Another question, is there any way to re-obtain guns you sell to the vendor? I sold guns to the vendor assuming I could buy them back whenever since this was the case in Resident evil 8 (I think).

Yes but you have to go to a special tab that's on the right side of the shop screen. I think to buy back into your inventory after that, it's 2x the cost. At least for the starter pistol and skull shaker or whatever it's called.
