EDIT: Changed wording to make it less damning of the gun in case someone who runs the metadata can prove me wrong. Which I welcome for the record as the striker was my favorite choice after I discovered how devastating it was vs the regenerators and iron maidens in the original version of 4. No seriously if you didn't know you could skip the thermal scope because if you upgraded the striker and went straight for their legs then stuck the barrel in their backs and unloaded, it could kill them in no time flat.
Since it may take a while to get the exclusive, you can max the striker and use it for a while then sell it and max the riot gun with the exclusive perk
The striker packs a punch on its down, just gotta be stupid close
Riot Shotgun is good for ranged fights, to keep distance on you, and does still offer crowd control. It's better in 1 vs 1 fights, mostly against bosses where this will stand.
I decided to stick with the Riot Shotgun this time around, as I had already invested a ton into it before getting the option to buy the Striker and didn't want to see it in order to upgrade a new shotgun.
Selling gives nearly all your money back now
Totally sell the 870 and get the modern shotty
riot gun is best in game, next up is skull shaker
