Why there is no U-3 ?

Just why? All the bosses are there, except him. It's a shame because he was the most stressful boss in the game :'(

I guess cause he was just a random monster with no build up or anything, he kinda just appears out of nowhere after Saddler simply refers to it has "it"

Canonically the Verdugos are the U3 in the remake, with the U2 being the Novistadors if im not mistaken.

It's still disappointing to see that this boss has not been replaced by another one, a whole sequence has been cut while the whole remake follows perfectly the original game. For me it's a pity, but I still liked this remake a lot.

When I think about it now, U3's existence in the game kind of made no sense. Why was there some randomly suspended structure in the middle of an underground cave that was holding dozens of storage containers? Not only does this setting not make sense, but neither does the existence of U3 himself. There was no build up to him at all and they probably couldn't write him into the story.

Del Lago has actual build up though, and a massive aquatic creature is more memorable than some ugly monster that dies as soon as its introduced.

U-III is mentionned in some document, and will more than likely be a part of Assignment Ada/Separate Ways/Some other DLC .

Not even in the slightest. Del Lago is one of the more memorable bosses in the game, without a doubt.

He was very scary. Seeing the lights change colors and the timer
