Thoughts on DLC outfits?
I personally think that they belong in a circus, not sure why they thought it was a good idea to offer gensin impact skins as alternative costumes instead of classics/ more fitting & realistic costumes that fit in the game.
But this is only my personal opinion, what do you think?

I think their themes are too strong and take you out of the game's atmosphere. Definitely not a fan of them. Also Ashley's punk casual outfit is pure wtf for so many reasons such as her character's role, its general look being so excessive and clashing with literally anything in that game, etc.

They're honestly really weird and out of place.

They're fun outfits. Just like how Mafia Leon and Knight Ashley are meant to be used for fun too.

Let people have fun.

Dude the villain and romantic skins are the best skins ever. I would pay a 100 bucks for each. Capcom really thought about everything in this zombie apocalypse game. Even roleplaying as an emo Leon or in case people want to have a romantic relation to the president's daughter.

Well you could say at least the knight Ashley fits on the castle XD but come on its typical this on japanese games, look at Fatal Frame unlockable costumes hahaha.

I like them, its a fun way to play another run, my question now is... Do the costumes have something special like the mafia or knight? I remember that reloading with mafia had a special move and well, knight Ashley was inmortal lol. I guess they are just skins right?

Even though they were a bit unusual; at least they matched the style & theme of the game, but those belong in DMC/Genshin Impact, way out of place.

RE series extra costumes have always been over the top

I agree, ever since RE5
But I feel like this time they change the entire character & theme, they're not even recognizable as themselves or that they're from RE.

Ever since forever. The original RE1 also had costumes that didn't fit the "theme", whatever that means.
Even the original RE4 had Leon dressed as a mobster from the 1920s.

There was only 1 ninja costume that looked out of place, the rest looked more realistic.
Regardless, this is your opinion, I respect it.

Where they even trying? They had so much potential with them, take the outfits in RE2 remake as an example and use your imagination to what they could've done.
ThaStrangr Mar 26, 2023 @ 2:17pm
They look lame to me, but it's really all a matter of taste. They don't have to fit a "theme" they just have to be visually appealing.
