Savage mutt glitched

The dog miniboss for the "savage mutt" quest seems to be glitched. He was just standing afk in the middle of the village and I could snipe him over and over without him ever reacting. Anyone else had that?

This happened to me, except I hit him once and he disappeared. Still wandering around the area to see if he'll come back or something

Dog AI doesn't seem that great, I pulled the Savage Mutt onto the path going back towards Chief Manor with the fences on both sides and started stabbing it with a knife, it kept trying to dodge left and right but the space was too narrow and so it was stuck in a loop of trying to dodge while I stabbed it, wasted no ammo in killing it.

I had it spawn under the map and had to restart from the start of the chapter to get him to spawn once lol

Yeah, I also had it in a loop where I would knife him, he’d jump to the side a little and do nothing, repeat. Seemed a little buggy.

My guess is you never got close enough for the enemy to activate properly.
In the castle, there is a quest with a *specific* crow who will be highly visible and you can kill him with any 1 shot, look away and he will be alive again when you look back. I didn't trigger him flying off for the quest so he was functionally immortal (Even though I passed right under him once or twice..)

Actually you can do it in the open.
REmake 2 lickers have taught me to be ballsy with the knife
