WTF is "ammo craft bonus frequency" anyway?

Crafting with or without charms that give this so called "ammo craft bonus frequency" makes no difference. I always get the same set amount.

It means you have a percentage chance to receive bonus ammo when crafting that type.

If it says "20%" for example... then roughly 20% of the time you craft it, you may get a bonus amount.

Thanks. That's what I thought too, but so far I haven't noticed it ever giving me more rounds.

It will say the +20% etc over the gun, itself, when you craft the ammo iirc. The bonus is kind of rare. The only time I've really been seeing it is SMG and its happened like 8x for SMG and 0x-1x for other weapons to the point I can't even remember it occurring for other weapons. Its most likely bugged and not functioning correctly, even with the charm bonuses, or SMG is bugged to occur too frequently perhaps (and I'm not even using an SMG charm). Could be a really extreme coincidence but...

That makes sense. I'm glad I didn't buy the deluxe edition just for the charm. But then again, I spent that same difference on the foil badge lol

Been happy with my results from my Pistol and SMG +20% craft frequency towards bonus ammo. Nothing feels nicer then getting 15 Bullets instead of 10 for Pistol and 45 bullets instead of 30 for my TMP.

I'm sure there's super rare ones that make it even more frequent. Curious if you can stack bonuses for better chances?

It's like what, 30%? So that isn't a high percentage either way.

I'm currently using the charm to receive more handgun ammo drops as that's more useful and consistent.

I too have noticed this happening mainly for SMG ammo. Shotgun ammo bonus has been moderate since I got the charm and I've seen the bonus maybe 3 times on rifle since getting that charm. The deluxe edition handgun ammo charm is BS, I had that and a 15% bonus chance from another charm all the way up until the castle... rarely ever got anything out of it.

Using the +30% charm from preorder and a +20% charm from gacha (along with a 1 black powder reduction on every craft charm, pretty nice ^^) worked wonders for me, and it did proc more or less half the time.

Why doesn't the merchant sell his ammo? LOL. Piles of it in front of him at one point and he won't sell any. It's not like he has a LOT of customers pruning for it. I find a box and it has 3 shot shells in it. A box of shotgun shells is 25 for normal and 3 to 5 on average for slugs. Does Capcom go to the range at all? LOL.

I just noticed it happening. After crafting 10x pistol rounds, a warning shows up in the HUD just about were a killfeed would be. It says I crafted 10x and then another line telling me another x5 as a bonus were crafted.
