golden egg farming still possible or?

Is there any point hanging around the chickens like a wierdo like in the original, or should i just leave them be? found one but i think it was planted there by devs rather than spawned by a chicken.

i tried that too, i'm guessing that the chickens lay plain and brown eggs only, like normal real ones, unlike RE4 original in which they can lay golden ones, which is kinda absurd :P

I think they spawn one random egg now. All golden eggs were just treasures on map for me
