streaming the game on discord caused problems

I streamed in a friends discord, in their gaming VC and uh ... after some time, eventually, i basically became deaf/mute. where it says "voice connected" it says disconnected.
i can stream or watch someone's stream, but i can't hear or speak. everyone else in that server is fine though, its just me.

restarting discord and my computer didn't fix it so uh ... now i am permanently deaf/mute in that specific vc in that specific server. every other one works fine. but ♥♥♥♥, i nearly did it again to another vc. I can't believe this game was so heavy on my pc that it perma-bricked my vc connection.

if anyone has suggestions on how to fix it, im willing to give it a shot i guess
things i've done:
restart discord
restart pc
tested other VCs and servers (just the one vc)
googled it (game breaking my vc connection doesn't pull up many relevant hits)

thing's i don't want to do:
re-install discord

things i WILL NOT DO:
RE-INSTALL WINDOWS BECAUSE ITS NEVER DONE IT WITHOUT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UP IN SOME WAY THAT CAUSED THE WHOLE PROCESS TO TAKE MORE THAN A DAY

how long have i been perma-♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this one VC: at least 2 days.

Have you tested talking through in that VC through the Discord web app and not the application?

Literally just stream your whole screen and not the application its self and unplug/replug in your interface

whole screen doesn't do audio though, which i'd prefer, unless they changed something and i just dont know about it.
and by unplug/replug the interface, i assume you mean my audio devices. which i just tried and that did not work.
