Broken Gold Tokens

So have used 6 Gold Tokens and have only gotten common charms, please don't tell me this is on purpose because if it is then I'm done with the shooting range, can't be bothered with that much time wasting RNG ♥♥♥♥.

I also didn't understand how it works - in theory, gold tokens should guarantee you something rare, but it doesn't always work out that way.

Tried reloading and trying again, get Zealot with Crossbow every time.

I have tried save scumming as well and i keep getting the same results. Gonna try a full game exit and see what happens.

yeah the rewards seem kinda lame, I would've preferred money like the og. I appreciate the attempt to try something different but it just doesn't seem worth it imo.

Money is more useful and doesn't rely on annoying RNG. The shooting range is frustrating enough without adding RNG gambling where you most likely won't get what you want on top of it. Bad game design.

well if you have the right rng then the system is pretty al right got 20% more on weapon sales and the legendary teddy that is -1 gunpowder for crafting and with all my handgun charms i had 50% bonus craft chance

So while save scumming doesn't work to give new results by itself, you can change the order of the tokens to change the result.

For example, I was able to get 3 rare tokens but changing the amount and order of the gold coins, like one gold coin, silver, then gold, gave a different result from say 3 gold coins.

I was able to successfully save scum 3 rare charms by playing with the order and quantity of gold coins where 3 golds twice in a row gave me only common charms.

Try throwing 3 silvers in to change the seed then, I don't know, I was able to play around with it and get rare charms, as long as you have at least one gold coin in the roll it seems possible.

The charms aren't all that useful, but they do add flavor, I have a 50% or something for bonus handgun round and a 30% body armor discount which is nice but not exactly game changing.

The seed doesn't change, if you are set to get something for your first roll then you will always get it. No matter what changes I make, if I put in three gold tokens I will get a Zealot with Bow. So a waste of three gold coins.

Can confirm the see does not change, the order of 3 sets of silvers will be the same, my same 2 sets of triple golds keep being the same :(
i really dont want to waste my coins on melee crits and a common!

I think it is just random. I got a legendary trinket after only throwing in 3 silver
