Can you go back to the lake with the boat after you get ashley?

I went back past the church and there's a huge gap in the rafters alongside the mountain. Is the lake now inaccessible?

I was unable to return to the abandoned factory after I got Ashley due to some rubble in the way. I don't think you can access the entire area before the cabin fight.

Yea you cannot go back after the cabin fight sadly if you missed anything will have to start over or in ng+

Ok so how you can go back to the lake? After chapter 5 you cant go back with Ashley..to hunt for treasure

You can't go back to the lake after getting Ashley. You actually can't go back to any of the right side of the map as the only two ways there were the bridge next to the church which is out and the way that leads to the cabin which automatically throws you into it.

you have to get all treasure around the lake before getting ashley

Ashley is the most valuable treasure in that part of the map anyway.

Outside of a dozen fishes you can catch that will cover your healing needs for the next couple hours, of course.

Out of curiosity is it possible to go back to the lake lil town area? I finally had to head to town hall but I missed some treasures back there and wanted to know if I could ever go back to get them. I'd really hate to have to start all the way back from like chapter 1/2 just to get those chapters for the treasure achievement.

For clarification I'm talking about the area where you first find Louis in a bag and release him.
