One of the worst ports I ever seem in my life
Game seems to be amazing, but the port is disgusting. Massive frame drops and stutterings every 2 minutes in totally random areas and closed spaces. Another sad example of PC port

How is it a port if it came out on several platforms at the same time?

I'm sorry to hear your pc is struggling.

I have a 980 and I play on almost everything on high with no stuttering, use your brain and deactivate stuff like dynamic dismemberment if your trash heap can't handle it.

Its a port, mostly due to how game development treats PC in a genral manner. They focus on consoles first, then work on PC even thoughout development, I've seen it during my time at Warners.

I had stuttering in Dead Space, I have none here.

I'm very sorry to hear that, it must've been an awful and traumatic experience.
With that being said, and contrary to a vocal minority, the past Biohazard pc ports were usually quite good and got even better with subsequent updates. The RE engine scales well across different platforms and setups, provided you have the necessary brain cellls to adjust the graphics settings.

No stuttering for me but it crashes within 5 minutes like every time.

ITs not just his pc.. Using a 10700k, 4090 and installed ona 3200mbs m.2 and theres parts of the game i struggle to get over 50 fps (village when its raining). Most of the time im above 80 though.. its very cpu intensive with all of the ai and rain effects

You PC is absolute trash and graphic settings are way too high.
It runs incredibly smooth on my PC and I am using a RTX 2060 super.
A low end card at 1440p

While for most the game I didn't experience any stuttering until a little after rescuing Ashley. After getting past the graveyard, the game dropped to lik 44fps in spots. Once I got out of that area where you meet up with Luis in the cabin after the bridge, the game was fine again. I am playing in 4K locked to 60fps and Prioritize Graphics setting+RT High so that could have a lot to do with it. I stopped there though to take a break because I got trashed during that fight lol
