Catapult castle entrance is so hard

It was not this hard in the original. I’m out of ammo and heals, have to run through a war zone basically. Ashley keeps getting grabbed and downed, and I get hit by fireballs and die. Wtf, I’ve been collecting like all treasures and upgrading wisely

unless youre on the high difficulty then this is only going to be hard if you are shooting the head constantly. are you shooting the fire barrels to stop the catapults?

I’m on standard. I dont even see catapults to shoot. And the roof is missing from that small brick house so they keep blasting me.

What exactly do i do? Run to the dome thing? Do i need a crank?

look at where the fireballs are coming from and shoot the red barrels you can also snipe the guys around it , to get the cannon jump down by the cannon and walk around the lower area and you will see a thing to shoot that lowers the cannon , after that go to the cannon kill remaining enemies and shoot castle door.

Annoying maybe, hard no… wish you could make Ashley wait when I’m running across the battle field though.

I did it on the first try without too much issues.

Thanks. I beat it, and got the blue medallions. I had to go back, sell stuff and buy the semi sniper

Actually, I feel like its far easier in the remake than in the original. It took me all of 3 minutes to wipe the floor with the entrance, I just rushed in.

I did it first try, in original this moron ashley kept dying and played this part for like 1h xD

The only thing annoying about it is Ashley getting hit in the section before you drop down to the cannon. It's not my favorite part of the game but it's not the hardest either.

It was easier for me to snipe with the pistol laser instead of the actual sniper
