Cant interact with the hands

Greetings, after obtaining the severed statue heads (the ones we have to get after killing the lake boss) i cant do anything with them. I am in the cave with the giant hand statues with the marker of the church key, but i cant do anything in there. What do i have to do with those statue heads in my inventory?

Ok the game thinks i didnt take the heads even though they are in my inventory. Guess my save game is bricked now -.-

Did you get them by following the game sequences or did you jsut go to where they were based on a walkthrough guide?

I went where the map markers were after i got the markers from the wall paining in the cave

You are standing next to the hands facing them not the thing in the middle, right? And when you interact with it you should get the insert item popup even if you had no key like items. If you're not getting the popup you could try going to save, restarting the game and seeing if it has fixed itself.
Edit: Also there are two heads at different locations, make sure you got both heads.

I got both heads and im standing right in front of the hands. I cant interact because there is no prompt for that. Also the quest still requires me to get the heads even though they are in my inventory. I'll upload a screenshot real quick

The church key quest is bugged for me. I just played another save file again up to the same point. I couldnt do anything in the cave. Watched a video of someone else going the quest. They were able to interact with the sigil aand leon asks himself if this is the key to the church. I cant even do that so the game is broken for me.

ITs really strange, I did the quest aswel and had no issues. So its likely there is some sequence involved in this that breaks if you leave one part out.
You tried already verifying game files and trying again?

Oh god... nvm guys. I found the issue. I am playing on 5120x1440p resolution and because of the god awful fov the prompt wasnt visible for the picture right above the sigil. I changed my resolution and it worked now. Guess the game wasnt meant to be played on ultra wide aspect ratio

OOOH so the markers for prompts move based on FOV / Resolution? Thats dumb xD

Just gotta chime in and say this made me laugh out loud. Sometimes the problems games make us face are just ridiculous.

I didnt want to believe i tried for hours on end to progress with the solution being just a few clicks away.

Haha.. I had the very same problem, playing on 5120x1400p as well... Had a thought that I broke some sequence, but resolution.. seriously?
