Anyway to run DLDSR resolutions from within the game?
I have a 34 inch 3440 x 1440 monitor but i want to run the game in my DLDSR resolution of 5120 x 2160 ingame. Is there any way to do this without switching to it from the desktop first?

No DLDSR for some games will only engage when setting it to that resolution at desktop. It's just that the game doesn't see the available resolutions if it's above what desktop is set too. It does this just like the previous RE games that have come out in the last few years.

this truely sucks. when the hell are they going to see this as an issue that needs to be dealt with in the drivers? arent enough people complaining about this already? its seems like a big feature not to be aware of this day in age

It's an issue with certain dx12 games. For some reason fullscreen is still running as borderless windowed mode and doesn't recognize any resolutions above the native desktop res. Only fix is to set the windows desktop to the desired dldsr res before launching the game.

why do you need to run dldsr when there is a built in resolution slider

dldsr is higher quality. ( much higher imo )

It's not necessarily higher quality, however it's less of a performance impact with dl-dsr than using the internal res scaler.

Let’s you use fsr/dlss still where as resolution scale gets turned off when using them
