In this version you barely send them flying, and it doesn't help that almost every decap turns them into a fountain plaga, or break their necks, giving them Parkinson after which they turn into a wrestler plaga.
That's just what I personally think tho. LOL
Also I-frames are a mess in this game, it's inconsistent as heck. Like if a ganados slashes you with an axe (forcing you into animation with them), you get I-frames for the entire duration. but if you stagger by yourself (like if the same axeman ganado hits you but only you stagger), you do not gain any i-frames, which makes being mobbed or chain combo'd by any mob feel cheap.
The decision to make ganados get back up after busting their necks is a weird choice and seems to hinge on the choice to have zombies come back as Crimson heads in RE1R.
I think it's because the game gives you more ammo than the original did.
