Massive FPS drop after rescue Ashley and when using rifle scope

I have an i7 10700k, 32GB DDR4 RAM and RTX 3070 (updated current drivers).
The game runs at maximum (without RT) between 80 and 100 fps at 1440p, but when I use the scope or when Ashley is present in an open environment the fps drops to 30 or less. Is anyone having the same problems?

Her boob physics are that immense to calculate. Seriously, though - I'm on a low-spec machine (4 GB RAM, 1050 GTX, i3) and have no stuttering or volatile FPS at medium settings. Go through GRAPHICS, they're pretty comprehensive to configure!

I believe the scope actually works by rendering the game a second time, as the view outside the scope does not zoom in when the scope does. Similar to games like tarkov and people complain that the scopes drop fps there as well.

But yeah, I'm trying to find a configuration that runs better, I'm a little frustrated that everything was running perfectly

I also think that's it, usually games just move the main camera out of character position and add the scope effect, but in this case I think it's a double rendering.

Same problem here, i have r5 3600, 16GB DDR4 2400 and RTX 3060, game runs smoothly at 75 fps but after rescue Ashley, my fps in village drop to 50, even in low settings

Same problem here, i have r5 3600, 16GB DDR4 2400 and RTX 3060, game runs smoothly at 75 fps but after rescue Ashley, my fps in village drop to 50, even in low settings

I noticed that the drop only happened in the village, after that it didn't happen anymore, I'm already in chapter 7 and it's back to around 80 fps again

same for me. its caused by the heavy train i think. i went from average of 120 no ashley no rain. to 50ish with spikes during the heavy rain.

Yes, I believe that the hair has helped the fps drop but when I got to the scene where we killed the horde of plagues with Luis, there were no more drops, I'm already in chapter 7.

Well i finished the game twice, and i have some fps drops in certain areas, always in the same place. I hope it will be fixed soon

mine only dropped 3 times so far, at the cabin fight, the water hall and now the castle lift on chapter 12. it really makes the game impossible to play since it drops from 40fps to 5 fps.

thinking about selling the rifle,, the frame drops using the scope is insane, cant aim worth ♥♥♥♥.

youre playing re4 remake on that spec at medium bro thats insane.
my spec are;
rx6600xt 8gb
ryzen 5600x
16gb ram
pcie 512gb (installed on)
windows 10

i played at;
1080p all low (excl. contact shadow which i enable)
all on and off setting are all turned off
enable FSR 2 to ultra performance
