Shooting Range Skulls
Having trouble with getting some skull. It seems the weapon accuracy struggles during these. For example, sometimes on 1-A the pistol will hit the skull or somehow hit the tiny space of the pirate's head. The very last one is almost impossible to hit seeing as well.

Not sure if Rare (labelled as "legendary" in-game, but might be "the legendary you always get no matter what" ^^ ) but I got a charm using three gold coins that reduces crafting costs by one black powder in every craft.
Pretty useful in hard mode, and I suppose you can stack three of those, althought by the time you get those three you might not need much ammo anyway ^^

I didn't check what bonuses are available yet, maybe there are better things than that, it's just what I got so far.

You cannot stack charms.

Even with mouse I cant hit it. Bullets just dont go where focused croshair is. Its like there is both delay and negative mouse acceleration.

yep there is a f delay.
You need to shoot while aiming in the empty space before target. About 5 mm to the side.

I wonder if the skulls are needed for the achivement or it is only to get rank S on all stages

the smg only is "easy" if you tap in some parts and blast in others for the the handgun only is the most difficult

It wouldn't be so bad if I could use the FRIGGIN laser sight for the last skull.
Generally, and this might just be 1-A , but I've noticed that there seems to be a...?? Delay? When I fire?
Like, I have to fire before I think I have to fire by a tiny bit so the bullet actually ends up hitting what I want it to hit, but almost never what I'm actually aiming at.
1-A, you do the entirety of it, then that really fast bird zips in with the final friggin medal and if you miss it, yolo, you ain't shooting it - it moves too fast for a measured second shot, and after the first one fails your reticle will widen to "Eh I might hit it I might not lol" mode anyway. Kind of annoying to go through half a minute plus for that one attempt and have pure and simple RNG fail me.

For everything I like in this remake there's about two or three things they changed or added that are completely baffling.

The opposite is also true, I got a gold reward by using three silver coins, you are just mad because RNG didn't favor you.

I actually think this system is superior to the one in the original, it gives you something you can't get any other way, instead of just giving you basic money reward.
The shooting range is harder to master than in the original, yet it just takes a bit of practice and is entirely doable by anyone.

And of course I did them all with a gamepad, I wouldn't use anything else to play a RE game ^^

If I skip the first shooting range can I do the missions from it at a later shooting range? Or does each range only have set missions?

on the second shooting range I found I could do the first ones again so I think that each new shooting range lets you repear the old ones

Extremely frustrating that this is literally reliant on rng. Having bullet spread play a role in this is terrible design. The final target on 1a is just horrendous design. Why would you make a range and have the player be able to miss a shot because rng won't put the shot in the center of the reticle?

And because the sway is also basically rng the final target is basically luck. You just keep doing it until the game decides you hit it.

The whole series has been about conserving resources. Having this awful RNG weapon spread goes completely against that and screws up many scenarios other than the range too. How do you prepare yourself at all when damage and spread seem completely inconsistent?

even better when you're right on the damn tiny target in the back and shoot you miss, aim a bit forward or lot forwards and miss, then shoot and get lucky and not hit the skull.

No offence at all man, but if you can't hit all the skulls in 1-A which is the the first and the easiest one, you will have a very bad time later on especially in 4-B.
