Do you think they will add Directx 11 support?
For some reason my computer can't really support directx 12 but I did play the demo to this game and it was kind of playable.
Games like RE2 remake and DMC5 are both on the RE Engine and run flawlessly on my computer but I had to dumb down the RE4 demo to very low settings for it to be playable.
Surely it wouldn't be hard given the ps4 can run the game pretty well

Edit: After much tinkering, turns out the game works just fine on my computer albeit in a low quality. Thanks for the feedback though, I will need a new one

The ps4 does not use dx11… if your pc doesn’t support dx12 it is time to upgrade
They won't in fact all RE Engine games switched to DX 12 and the 11 version is only available becasue folks complained about it running like ♥♥♥♥. Expect every new RE Engine game to not support DX 11 anymore from here on out.

If it supports dx12 then that shouldn’t be the issue… dx11 is not guaranteed to run better than dx12. In fact , because dx12 provides more freedom in terms of implementing it it can be optimised to run BETTER than dx11.

So what is the problem exactly? An older api will NOT give you better performance… if you struggle with modern games it is your hardware, not the api
RE4 Remake is pushing for MUCH higher visually fidelity than RE2 Remake or DMC5. Also the game does not run great on PS4 as it runs at 1600x900 40ish FPS with settings below PC low.
