Think They’ll Remake RE5?

I don’t know, what do ya think?

RE5 is certainly one of their weakest mainline games, there was all that “controversy” about how you were a white guy gunning down waves of “savage” black people (ignoring the fact that it takes place in Africa), and it’s potentially “too recent” to be given the REmake treatment.

Think they’ll do it though? Would anyone actually want that?

Maybe in a couple years, I think. My guess is that after this RE4 remake the general RE team is gonna focus on an inevitable RE9.

It could be worth it, especially if the playerbase is alright with them deviating from the original and cutting/adding/changing content to make it a better game than the original was.

for me i hope they stop remakes RE bec from 5 to 8 all are trash , i want capcom start making new RE game with new story and characters

If they do, I hope for them to follow the vision from the first teaser, where Chris was walking through shadowy alleys and suddenly he was blinded by the sun.

I'd much rather Code Veronica be the next remake.
But if we're going to continue the Remakes past CV, I'd rather see 0 and 1 before 5 too.

I'd be fine with them remaking 5 and 6 but only IF they actually change them a lot. Make them more typical Resident Evil and less co-op shooters.

I have a feeling they won't remake them though.

I hope, I find it one of the more fun RE games in terms of action.
Literally for the camera alone, and maybe the quick time events having better button pop ups for PC Id buy it again for those alone xD.

People ♥♥♥♥ on it, which fair it isnt the best game and it has like not much horror survival if at all. But hey, i think they could greatly improve it with a remake, maybe make it more of a horror survival. Like keep it like RE4 levels of action, maybe a few crazy set pieces and stuff. Obviously just dont keep it the same. I feel like more people would like it if they did an actual remake reverting it back into more of a horror action, instead of no horror and pure action. The only horror in that game as the damn controls.

5 is not as remarkable as 4, 3, 2.i don't think, so. Also 5 is for the 3º console generations, so no huge improvments in graphics. weist of time and money IMO.
