Won't let me enable HDR
I do have an HDR monitor but every time I go to tell it to use HDR it tells me to make sure my monitor supports it and keeps the setting off. Anyone have this issue or fix it?

Enable it in Windows first. (right-click on your Windows desktop, select settings then enable HDR). Launch the game and it should detect it. A lot of games on PC do this and it's rubbish. HDR is very poorly implemented into Windows.

Thanks man, Now if I could figure out how to adjust its brightness. It says to do it until the pattern is barely visible but. Its never visible lol

Probably need to lower the brightness on your monitor settings. Drop it down a bit and you should be able to see the box.

The HDR in this game is okay at least just for me. Maybe I just need a better monitor since my 4K monitor is only HDR 400 and my 1440p monitor is HDR 600 and the HDR is meh on both of them for this game.

It also depends on the game's implementation of HDR. For ex: Dead Space Remake's HDR is one of the best I've ever seen (too bad that game has some stuttering issues)

I'm having the same ENABLE HDR issue on my Customed Built HP Gaming PC. Its odd that I can play other games with 4K HDR @60Fps with no issues. But with RE4 Remake I'm also getting the same "make sure your Monitor supports HDR"... annoying. Hope they fix this bug.

It seems pretty random on when it decides to work. I found that If I put the game in borderless Window, It will let me enable HDR. Then sometimes/ not always, it will keep the HDR setting when I change it back to fullscreen. Hope that helps!

Im still getting this issue. It occurs right after a D3D error for me though.

i'm having a completely different issue with HDR on RE4R... whenever i start the game and i go to in-game display setting to turn on HDR, the game crashes the very second i try to enable HDR by sending me back to desktop. as if i never opened the game... when i first got the game last year, hdr worked fine until i upgraded my video card to rx7900xtx... RE4R has not worked at all in hdr mode on this new and expensive video card... all my other HDR games are working fine on HDR, but NOT RE4R... why is that???
