I made a quick steam guide to help those dial in better controls with a gamepad and remove what has been imo somewhat broken since RE7, their implementation of aim acceleration.

Just a Bump to let people know there's been actual data collected and i used the tools to get a controller layout with as close to the PS5's controller deadzone as possible, while also having a section in the guide on how to test and alter the deadzone yourself. Shout out to the people in here who contributed to the idea of using steam input to solve the deadzone issue.

why would anyone use a controller for a pc game though

Personal Preference, I like laying back on the couch and playing on the TV with controls that don't hurt my old bones as much. This is to help those who want to use controller not to argue a mouse isn't better for aiming.
