if you use the FOV setting, use the ULTRAWIDESCREEN FIX instead, widens your view with out stretching it. And it doesnt mess up zooming in, as far as I know, and doesnt mess up item screens as much. cutscenes are fine so far too.
I used RE Framework for other RE games in the past, but after I heared of the cutscene bug in the demo I stayed away from it for this RE 4 Remake for now. But the granade spam and grab stuff from all sides seems way worse in the full game than I imagined after playing said demo. So I might get that set up for the game as well.
I made another post thats shorter and not terribly worded like this one.
Pretty much TLDR Higher fov, when you inspect items it makes it look like youre looking at a smaller picture.

My other post
Too lazy to post screen shots, it only takes like 1 min to install and then seconds to set up when in game.
Ill take pictures right now though, and if I remember ill post em here so you can see what im talkin about.
Humans have a vertical fov of 180 on average, and a horizontal fov (which is the games fov) of 135. So dont know what youre talking about.
And why would I need an ultra widescreen monitor to play at 120 fov?
Might make it a little easier, but anything is harder when you have 57 fov at the least and at most 70 fov.
The camera doesnt zoom out Its still close,so you dont really see behind you.
If you need to tie difficulty to 70 fov thats poor design, you can still have a zoomed in camera with out the fov being annoying.
if you want it to be "hard" just play at the lowest fov which is about 57 :^)
or mod it so you have 10 fov, very hard :^)

This was a video made on the demo, but I might as well post it again. It's the primary issue which got even worse now in the full game and we still got no options to disable these zoom effects when using ADS. On a scope it's understandable but why on ADS as well, capcom?

This is what im talking about with the picture thing.
When you have the ultrawidescreen fix on, it doesnt look nearly as bad (this screenshot is taken at 100 fov) so if you have 80 it wont be as bad.

This picture is with ultrawidescreen fix on with 1.25 FOV and Vertical FOV on

This is just the normal 100 fov with no widescreen/vertical fov on.
Wish it was easier to upload pictures to share lmao.
Then dont play with it. Im tired of seeing these OmegaLuLz who have their profile private ♥♥♥♥ talking and playing with 70 fov, obviously zoomed in so far you can see booty hairs.
I play with pretty high FOV, around 90 is the sweet spot for the average person that wont generally give a fish eye effect/super little.
You dont even notice the fish eye when actually playing either. As its out of your focus zone.
But many people get motion sickness with lower than 90 fov.
Np.
Wish the devs would have designed the camera system better so it isnt fully relying on FOV kek. Cuz you can make close up character cameras with out having terrible fov. Which I know to many my 100+ fov is terrible
