More action than scary?

Hi,

I'm a huge horror movie fan but not so into horror games, is this one more action oriented than survival horror and jump scares?

Action, it's more like an action game with an horror theme. It can get tense and you can get scared but at the end of the day you are still roundhouse kicking zombies in the face and shooting bazookas into giants.

RE4 was more action than horror, this game is as well, it has certain sections now that are way scarier mainly because of graphics and some altered game design.

RE4 is much more action oriented in general compared to stuff like Outlast or Amnesia and such.

Have to say I experienced one extremely unexpected jumpscare so far in the village.

RE4 has the least horror in the franchise. If you want that, RE1 and RE2 is your best bet.

Also try RE7 too its good. RE4 never was a horror game. It was COd clone like RE5 and RE 6 just phew phew phew

I guess any game that has bullets in it is a COD clone.
