Random Crash happens for me, if using Ray tracing + Fidelity 1.
The same thing happened in demo.
Crash and D3D error.

Getting sick and tired of repeating that GeForce GPU's don;t have enough VRAM.

Relax.
I didn't max it up.
The game runs smoothly, crash happens during cutscenes mostly.
It happens very randomly, you may play for an hour without crash and get crash after 15 minutes of gameplay

what happens if you lower fidelity or use fsr?
cutscene use most vram in RE engine games.

This is not true, is ray tracing problem, because i have rtx 4090 and game crash when enabled RT, and without RT enable game runs perfect and i have other pc with 3080 at the same all settings max and without RT runs good but if enabled RT crash, and i try with settings low, medium, high and max and is the same only crash with RT enabled... and i have RE8 with all max and RT enabled and run perfect...

RT make the game crash as in the demo it's a known issue. Anw it's bad, use the other reflection method, works as well as rtx without crashing.

True I have 3080 and games runs perfect without RT, and even with RT the game is ok, until crash happens, when this crash was on demo, I thought it might be Fidelity, but no, something is wrong with RT in this game. It crashes randomly, no matter on low or high settings it is set on.

I was thinking the same thing, but if I have the RTX and VRAM in white it doesn't crashes. (in yellow it does.)

Good because apart from making you sound ignorant it doesnt achieve much else

Same issue. Hopefully they fix it soon. This is one of the few games I own that I actually want to use ray tracing on. RTX 3080 here. Got the crash 3 times. Seems almost completely random but it happened twice when I was in the middle of slamming into a door and loading a new area.

Stop talking utter crap

Same for me with RTX 3080 12GB. VRAM usage shows 11.5GB allocated and 10.5GB dedicated when it crashes. Ther3's a few spots I can replicate the crash, like opening one of the doors in the village, so I think it is a problem with raytracing itself and not a VRAM issue like everyone online suggests.
I hade Zero Issue (4K Native + Max Setting + RT ON)

PC Specs:
RTX= 3090 (Latest Driver)
RAM= 64GB (DDR4 3600mhz)
MOBO= Asus X570 Extreme

Demo And Full Game (No Issue)

People need to stop spreading this misinformation. I have seen it in several forums as the reason for this problem. It's not. Those of us with 12GB RTX cards are also getting crashes until we turn Ray Tracing off. Again, this is a problem with the Ray Tracing setting. Not a memory bandwidth problem.
