The exact same thing happened to me, you have to pay attention in the crash report, in my case it was because I had a window craked (error to kernel and dndnll.dll) security for windows

personally, I wouldn't let that happen to me

I provided a crash report from a user Armagonis to chat GTP. lol Which sometimes is helpful, sometimes not. Here is what I got. And it's basically what I just suggested to someone else on a different thread.

1. Verify game files: Right-click on the game in your Steam library, select "Properties," and then click on the "Local Files" tab. Click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files" and wait for the process to complete. This will check for any missing or corrupted game files and replace them if necessary.

2. Update drivers: Make sure your graphics card drivers are up-to-date. Visit the website of your graphics card manufacturer and download the latest drivers for your card.

3. Check system requirements: Double-check that your system meets the minimum requirements for the game. You can find the system requirements on the game's Steam store page.

4. Run the game as an administrator: Right-click on the game's executable file (usually found in the game's installation folder) and select "Run as Administrator." This will give the game necessary permissions to run.

5. Disable antivirus software: Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with the game's installation or launch. Try disabling your antivirus software temporarily and see if the game runs without any issues.

I asked it if there is anything else it suggests. The answer is no. It said to contact the games developers and submit a bug report if none of this helps. lol Good luck I'm not sure if any of this will help.

The next step is to find the best way to submit an official bug report.

My game boots fine. I've had a few random crashes but nothing too serious yet. But I'm trying to help.

game was only running in the background then crashing after a while, verifying the files in the properties fixed it for me. Something was wrong with one file., seems to work now
