Optimization: Demo vs final game ?
If some of you who bought the game with a pc setup close to the minimum recommendation of the game could share their comparison between the demo and the final game (less fps drop or not), it would be much appreciated

As an example, here is mine
I7 4770k
GTX 1660 TI
16GB DDR3

Knowing that in the demo, I had drops of fps at times without it being penalizing (not in fight), I would like to know more if there have been improvements in terms of stability (fps more constant) and I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs his information before planning to buy it so thanks for those who will share

I doubt the game is any more optimized than it was with the demo. Too short a time. Also the RE games are incredibly optimized already.

What you might get lucky with is the new drivers optimized for RE4. Those might give you a bit more stable performance.

It basically runs like the demo, but the village area with chainsaw man is even more demanding now, at least on my System. I hope Capcom releases some performance patches to fix traversal stutters, overall frame rate stability and VRAM usage optimization.

Runs better than the demo after Nvidia driver update. (GTX 1060 6GB)

It all depends on when they made the demo. They may have worked a lot after designing it but maybe not. Now I've never had a problem with RE games so I think it will be a patch soon or as you say a driver will help

the demo at least for me runs better then full game i have with same settings in the village [ DEMO ] 52-60 FPS but in Full game its runs not so good. I realy hope the devs bring a patch that improve the performance a bit. I try different settings but no effect. So hopefully we get a a patch that improve the performance a bit more.

The fight is likely to be more complicated, especially in hardcore. Now, do you have the latest Nvidia driver? ☈YUKSUM says it's better with latest driver which is just for game

You can always try to gain fps by going to make changes in the nvidia panel for the game (quality: high performance, etc). Personally, I always go to see the optimization proposals on youtube, it can really help. In addition to the nvidia driver which seems to be useful. I expect to have bugs so, we hope like for all games that the first patch will be as complete as possible

I wish i could download the new driver to test this game but apparently, the crashes issues with Hogwarts Legacy and Immortals Fenyx Rising are still happening with the latest driver, and I'm playing both games.

Game runs better than demo for me. I surpass recommended and my build isn't some bottlenecked potato like some jokers running 64bit ram off a PC they bought prebuilt with a terrible MOBO.

I haven't had any noticeable problems three hours in and didn't with the demo either. Honestly it's a breath of fresh air compared to how most PC games have been at launch lately.

It runs better than the demo by quite a lot honestly

for older rigs. you might wanna check the graphics setting and change rendering to "interlaced" its checkerboard rendering (was on by default Resi 2 &3 also i guess on consoles). it might improve performance and looks miles better than fsr.
try it on the demo.

The game tanks pretty hard on filled areas and during the heavy weather times. Running the game on a rtx4070ti and even that beast of a card can't keep up the 60fps on fullHD. Perhaps the joke is on my for using raytracing, who knows.
interlaced and hair without filter is good for gaining fps but clearly the game is already lousy in terms of texture and ground especially outdoors so I don't advise avoiding doing this if you have no choice (I have the choice, personally).

For optimization, doing the first area of the demo, I found the same fps drop in the same place (first house in the corridor and at the level of the trap before the village gate) so, I hope that will go for the rest of the adventure
