is the game really dark for anyone?

regardless of brightness settings the game is still really dark and in shadowed/dark areas its almost pitch black to the point i cannot see people or traps ect

I can't see ♥♥♥♥ either. I needed to stop playing because standing in the shadows is literally pitch black and like you I can't see enemies, pickups or traps.

Alright turning ambient occlusion to fidelity FX fixes it.

Incredibly dark for me on PS5... could barely see a thing.
