Is there spiders?

Got arachnophobia so wanna know if there is spiders in the game. I know the original didn't have any besides some small ones on the ground that don't attack you but I been playing for a bit over an hour now and already ran into a brand new enemy that's not in the original so made me worried what if they added actual spider enemies. Anyone far enough in the game yet to confirm if there is any spiders at any point or to the point you have gotten to?

LMAO. I just had a flashback to the day Skyrim came out and I saw the giant spiders in that first cave and I needed my mom to kill them for me. I know your pain OP.

Not really, closest thing would be the U3 boss and that was scrapped. I don't remember RE4 ever having any spider enemies.

Yea I played the original many times and there is none there but was just wondering what if they added some to the remake since there seems to be new enemies but hopefully not, I'm at 2h in so gonna go sleep and wait till other people get further in the game so they can confirm no spiders, since if there is I have to refund.

Where I'm from, In the summer, if you live in the woods, you can take a flahlight outside at dark and shine it at the ground in any spot and see hundreds of little tiny lights. These are wolf spiders, whose eyes reflect light and can be seen in this way with glowing eyes like a cat / wolf. After a few minutes of looking for these, you'll realize they are countless-there are thousands and thousands of them everywhere.

I don't think there are going to be any actual spiders in this game. If there were tho I'd expect a mod to pop-up fairly soon that'd replace the model with cubes or something, doesn't help with the disgusting sounds usually but at least the models are gone. There's that for Skyrim and more recently for Hogwarts Legacy.

there is a little spider in the original and you can kill it. Its not an enemy though :)

There is a parasite enemy in this game which resembles a spider and comes off the enemy's head, just like in the original. So be aware of that.

Yeah I used that for skyrim where it turn them into bears. Replaced sounds as well, really good mod.

Yeah I know about the parasite once since I have beat re4 2005 multiple times and that wasn't a problem back then, now idk how insane the model is gonna be now with the new graphics but should be fine, also I remember the small spiders on the ground in the original but u could just knife them and they wouldn't do anything so they weren't an issue. I'm just worried they are gonna add something like re3 remake had since I couldn't play that one coze of it.
