(spoilers) underwhelming final boss fight?

hey folks, just finished this game. Am i the only one that thought the final boss fight is kinda meh? I did not play the original game. I played the RE2 and RE3 remakes and their bossfight were much more fleshed out. In this game you just have to shoot at the same 4 eyes for 5 times and thats it. The scenery and the surface the fight was on was so boring just two small squares with no obstacles and the minion spawn was also 0 threat. The mini bosses (like Kramer or the 2 giants were much more challenging and fun.

I agree, the last boss is just ok, while the rest was amazing, especially the Krauser fights, those are literal upgrades. And lets not forget salazar, who isnt a wall decor anymore but actually moves, sets traps and hunts you. He was so bad in the original. At one point when you succeed a QTE, another QTE follows right after the first one and hits you anyway, absolute garbage design. Verdugo is just as badass as in the original, so both versions are fantastic. The big cheese actually does something now with his second pair of limbs (throwing projectiles at you). As good as the original is, the remake does the boss battles much better (well aside from saddler, both versions are meh).

The whole game was underwhelming tbh

The last boss fight was probably the fight I liked most in this game. It had a lot of campiness to it that I felt was missing from the rest of the game.

Yeah I don't think any final boss in resident evil really impressed me. I'm pretty sure the tyrant caused me stress back in the 90s. Think you died in 2 or 3 hits

It's never a good sign when a boss gets to summon minions. It's more or less the developers admitting the boss itself isn't good enough. (Even though I did like the novistadores thematically, just think it would've been better to have them implemented differently, not as additional monsters to fight off.)

Yeah fighting Saddler is less fun than fighting the golden knight.

I made the mistake of using the rocket launcher on him. Didn't expect to one shot the abomination. Next run, I'll do it normally.
