Weak points of enemies.
Is there any guide that explains exact weak points of specific enemies? I'm in 7th chapter and i'm still not sure if i should (For example) aim for body or "head" when fighting with enemies that have worm that spits acid (instead of head) or tentacles instead of head

Never aim for body.
For ganados, aim at their head and/or ankle. When you don't have the laser sight, shooting at the head is relatively difficult, so focus on shooting their legs due to the legs being bigger target.

Once you get the laser sight, just keep shooting at their head, in HC, 3-5 shots are enough to kill them or stun them for a kick.

Once the plagas emerge, for claw type, shoot the fleshy part with the eye-looking thing, for the snake type, shoot when it opens its mouth.

Plaga Guadana, the first type, its weak point is the plaga itself.
The Plaga Mandibula "Worm" has its weakpoint INSIDE the mouth. Shoot it when it opens its mouth. Best to use a flash grenade when there are many around.
For Plaga Arana (Third type), shoot the Plaga itself until it detaches from the Ganado, else the ganado will need a lot of bullets to die.

The spider type is kinda annoying, more than the OG me think.
If they are alone, my strategy is shoot them with a rifle or shotgun in the head to kill the host first, then use handgun on the spider.

If there are multiple of them with multiple ganados, throw a flashbang to kill all the spiders first, then shoot the ganados as normal.

I did not encounter (or i don't remember seeing it) third type yet.
Btw i'm very surprised by how tanky enemies are even when i'm shooting right to their head, it's my first time playing any resident evil game and i took hardcore mode
Also - i've no idea how am i supposed to aim for mouth of "worm", it moves rather quickly compared to "tenctales", i also don't use any grenades cause i'm selling them every time it's possible, after all i need a lot for money to upgrade my weapons

Flashbang save the day again

Its so good as an option in resource L crafting

It also aoe stun every ganado including shield units, which lead to easy melee to disable them.

You can stun-lock the third type with just a knife. So long as they don't find themselves a host. :P

It's better to use rifle round against the plagas when they "pop up".
One or two rifle round is enough to kill them, un-upgraded.

Yeah, basically you can use flashbang against everything.
It even works against gigantes LOL, though I wonder if it works against Salazar, not tested.

Also, not so pro-type: if you encounter a single lonely ganado and you don't want to waste ammo.
Parry their attack and then knife to death when they are down.

You guys saying a lot of good stuff about flashnbangs but i don't think that i used it more than once, i'm learning how to properly play game while saving grenades either for bosses or for selling them ASAP
Btw. thank you all for tips

I think flashbang don't work on major boss, never tested on Mendez boss fight and Salazar boss fight. Krauser mutated fight and Saddler boss fight do render flashbang useless ( I stopped crafting flashbang from chapter 13 onwards )

Do you thinki that i should use other weapon than pistol for killing them? I'm asking because you mentioned using laser sight while i've 9RED and i think that it's incompatible with laser sight

I hope you learn about craft hoarding exploit, which is related to how the rng drop system handle stuff, especially against gunpowder and resources (both type)

This is my old run, craft hoarding choice is shotgun ammo from resource S and flashbang from resource L

This is my current run, craft hoarding choice is magnum ammo from resource S and smg ammo from resource L
