How long it normally takes for any RE game to go on sale?

So yeah, recently after my friend's recommendation I tried out RE2 remake and biohazard. Loved it (at least for now) and good thing it's on sale recently so bought it. But I never really tracked any RE games to see how long it takes for it be on sale on Steam. So I am kinda confused about buying RE4 remake right now. So if you guys have spotted any patterns, any idea around when I can see RE4 remake on sale? I can wait for it for sometime no problem but if its gonna take 2+ years lol just to be on sale, I might as well buy it right now.

Thats how long it took RE3 to be on sale but to be fair RE3 got a pretty bad rap for feeling underwhelming. (RE3 is actually on sale right now).

Honestly just buy it right now. It's worth the purchase imo. You'll probably get 10% off a few month down the line but not playing a game you will most likely enjoy over 5 to 10 dollar isn't really worth it unless you're dying for money.

Hmm. I understand now, its not gonna be long before it comes on a sale. I got re2, re3, biohazard and village today and I am pretty sure its definitely gonna take me more than 3 months ( even more maybe ) to finish all these and move to re4. Now if I don't buy it now and buy it after i finish these titles first and get it on a discount later then i guess it works out for me. Like they say "a penny saved is penny earned" xD.

Don't get me wrong tho, i am aware that for a lot of people who are into this series they will buy it for their original price and trust me, i also have bought my share of games for their original price for which I was crazy about like Sekiro, DMC5 etc and didn't even wait for them to go on sale. But I am not that crazy about RE4 so I will probably wait it out if within few months its gonna be on sale.
