Report a translation problem
I'm not sure whether or not this applies to pausing the game while a cutscene is playing, as the cutscene is paused but the in game timer is not shown. Shouldn't be that hard to check, though.
Adding to this typewriters also pause the timer, so if you can wait to craft and organize at a typewrite or the end of a chapter it saves a little time
Buying slots for inventory can clearly save you time, while having a good amount of resource in reserve
What WILL get you is if you LOAD from ANYWHERE other than MAIN MENU. This is death screen or in the middle of a playthrough. They stack onto your current time. If you die or need to load a save always go to the main menu first.
