Nine hours and still no preload says 24th
this is getting ridiculous.

Dunno if that's the case for you but preloading is useless if you have a fast internet, it will take longer to decrypt the game files and install it than to download the game from scratch after it's released. But I feel for you if you have a slow internet brother, F.

Its not about slow internet its about steams server being slow af when everyone is trying to download at the same time at midnight. Preload prevents that. When Sons of the Forest came out it broke Steam for a few hours

Even so, it's faster to download than to preload, I just went through that with Like a Dragon Ishin last month.

I guess you don't know how preloads work then. You download an encrypted version of the game and your pc needs to decrypt the files before installing. If you have a good internet connection, downloading the game when it's released (it's not an encrypted version anymore) will be faster than waiting for the preload version to be decrypted, understand?

I have never pre-ordered a game on PC before so excuse my ignorance but I thought that meant we got to play the game early as well as preload it. But we pre-ordered just to get the game when it is normally supposed to be released? As well as there's still no preload so I am assuming there isn't going to be one for PC. I usually don't care but the game comes out at 12 am and I work 11p-7a so I won't be able to even start downloading it until I get home from work.
