TL;DR
They also deliverd some of the most trashy experiences with Resident Evil 6 and 8 and Resident Evil Outbreak, tho.
Capcom can be very hit or miss, but at least they try to do new stuff if the old stuff gets stale, or does not work anymore.
It plays a lot like the original, don't see how it's a "complete" overhaul. It's just a refinement of RE4.
>survival horror
lol RE4 is and always was an action horror game, nothing "survival" about it.
>countless hours of gameplay
12-20 hours = "countless"?
>truly immersive gaming experience
RE games are sometimes deliberately corny and silly, RE4 especially. No idea why you're talking about this like it's some kind of profound work.
All that said I have no idea why people who aren't in countries with currency problems are complaining about the price. "It's just a remake!" So? AAA devs have pretty much lost the ability to make original stuff that isn't dog****. Taking actually good stuff from the past and improving the graphics is the best we can hope for in most cases, and ends up being far better than practically any of the new IPs that are 90+% of the time f***ing horrible. If that trash goes for $60 a souped-up good old game is worth at least that much.
There, added the TL;DR version for you.
