Now everything has to be ugly. Look at the autors twitter.. it's cringe to the max.
I for example effin don't care about video game fashion.. I'm not a cuck. But seeing how americans keep trying to change the world with their weird af attempts to divert attention from important things.. where even japanese devs bow down to them.. kinda hurts.
its kotaku what did you expect?
also did he just call leon a blonde? is the person color blind? leon has always had brown hair
Like it was with Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart(because it's russian game) and other kind of ♥♥♥♥.
Not shocked at all with this one either.
lol.. so...
girls in short skirts - no
but
making fun of ugly people and the illiterate - yes
I feel like she's just mad no one wants to see her in a short skirt.
Fan service is fine. Sexy women in videogames are fine. If one wants to virtue signal and call massive perverts everyone who wishes for Ashley's upskirt in the remake - just because the original had it and that's how we remember it... Well, then one needs to be consistent and call out Capcom and all the devs of the original all the way to Shinji Mikami. Because I'm pretty sure if this wasn't a feature in the original literally nobody would be upset it's gone.
I positively hate this trend of not respecting the original character design, be it Jill's skirt or Ada's dress. Worst part? Even though I'm sure modders will bring back Ashley's skirt and render her elaborate underwear in 8k with ray tracing, DLSS and HDR (doing Capcom's job, being perfectly honest), they won't be able to bring back "Hey, what are you looking at?" and the animation of Ashley holding her skirt is obviously out of discussion.

At least we will always have Nier: Automata
Edit: to be clear I’m joking. The over sexual nature of Nier actually made me stop playing. I’ve been told there are in game reasons for the whole sexy robot Lola thing but the camera just loves to zoom right into the characters butt anytime it could. I felt like a perv playing it
That's a gem from the comment section. Several decades ago, these people would be religious fanatics or something like that being all ascetic and whatnot in a monastery. These people can't handle thinking for themselves but have replaced would-be religious zeal with nihilism while lacking any self-awareness.
As a Nietzschean, I find self-righteous nihilists to be at best a disappointment, and at worse an abomination that must be excised from the gene pool and relegated as harbingers of doom in history. We must become ubermensch, and never let this happen again.
I´m more surprised, that these sites and "Journalists" still exist.
You would think, that they lost any shred of credibility by now since they made no secret about pushing Agendas instead of doing their Job.
Guess I was wrong.
Clicks is all these provocative agenda pushing sites want, they don’t care if you agree or not, they just want clicks and the more drama they create the more likely they’ll get them
Never click on clickbait, walk away
Because most of them are under holding companies. They arent independent. They are just slaves for bigger companies.
For Kotaku it's G/O media currently.
Wasn´t G/O medias declared goal to curb Kotakus excesses and actually doing proper reviews and gaming articles instead of that leftist political crap?
Can´t imagine, that they would appreciate Kotakus unsavory reputation since it would be detrimental to their own reputation.
