Looking back it wasn't as good as the main game. Even the cutscene videos were of lower quality that they didn't bother to reproduce or upscale in any way. But it was fun to play a bit more RE4 that wasn't the same thing over and over. At least there were a few new areas not recycled from the main game. I remember a boat. Not sure if that was a different mode though. I think if they make DLC they don't really need to constrain themselves to a recreation of this part of the game. We know there definitely will be DLC.

It wasn't in the gamecube version either so i can give Capcom a break. But the gamecube version had mercenaries and assignment Ada which are not present in this remake at launch. Mercenaries will be added at a later time for free, but there's no word of assignment Ada from Capcom.

I seem to recall some other mode like Assignment Ada where it's still Leon and there are a few new locations.
On an unrelated note, in Fallout 4 Automaton DLC I will assign Ada, the robot companion, to work on the corn plant.

I played it yesterday for the og RE 4 game and it was ok. Not good nor great. If they do this again I expect them to do all the crazy moves Ada has in cutscenes justice in gameplay. Her moving faster and being able to knife quicker was fine... But the hookshot was clunky af and nothing else came even close to what they showed in the cutscene. I will wait if we get something great this time, otherwise I really don't care at all.

20 usd for 1st person? literally almost a scam lol.
all they have to do is switch the camera to fist person. Ez pz. Mods can do this, and I think may have already.
If that cost money its worth at max 1 usd.
As thats the amount of work put into it.
