Resident Evil 4 VR mode on PC

I do really hope that this new release will have a VR version on PC, not just on PSVR as rumours say. The 2004 original RE44 on Quest2 in VR is a brutal experience. The second best game after HL:Alyx imho.

I wonder how PSVR 2 Resident Evil 4 Remake will play out? I like to guess it'll play just like how REVillage played, but I'm not sure. I wanna get a PSVR 2, but I'm torn between that and or a RTX 4090..

yeah that's a tough one. I'd say if you plan on also getting a PCVR headset anytime in the next 2 years, the 4090 is a much better choice due to the hundreds of VR games you get access to (including Re2,3,4R,7 and 8).

If you're cool with Re4, Re8, and GT7 possibly being some of the only games you'll play, the PSVR2 is a fine purchase. There is no garuntee that Sony will keep releasing quality VR games but i have high hopes for them.

I'd like to get a RTX 4090, but Nvidia is sold out of their 4090's, Amazon's prices are 2k, and Newegg's prices are nearly the same.

In addition to Mizuchi's comment I also want to point out that Praydog, who did the RE Framework VR mods, is also releasing his Universal Unreal Engine injector mod this moth or next which will allow you to turn almost all existing UE4 and UE5 games into VR. Another point of consideration for the RTX 4090.

You mean the mod? That is for the remake. It only has third person atm but they have 1st person done and are just waiting until the PSVR2 version has been out for a bit to release it so they don't get hit with a cease and desist by Capcom and Sony.

still nothing. DUH. quest 3 native RE4 is ok, but looks outdated anyways. wanna see those shaders!
and unfortunately, mod doesn't support 1st person and whatever.
either they are confident sony will let it out on PC.. or... just don't wanna do it? no demand? i don't think so. afraid of sony?
project is very alive but tey just ignore RE4r =((
